Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts are essential for increasing productivity and saving time when using a computer. However, different tools have their own unique set of shortcuts, which can be confusing and frustrating. For example, saving a document in Microsoft Word requires pressing CTRL+G, while in a simple notepad it is CTRL+S. This inconsistency becomes problematic when using multiple tools throughout the day. Additionally, using specialized tools like VIM as a code editor and Dvorak programming as a keyboard layout further complicates matters. To address this issue, the author began creating a table to modify and personalize keyboard shortcuts, associating each key with specific actions or commands. This approach aims to provide a more consistent and efficient workflow by customizing shortcuts according to individual preferences and needs.
